| Yes, there is a high probability that the harness has a problem. They've been known to have incorrect wiring connections in other areas. The EFI harness routes the FPC signals from the ECU to the FPC. I'm willing to bet that's your problem. Here's what to check. Looking at the connector on the fuel pump controller. -----| |---- . 1 2 3 4 . . 5 6 7 8 . ------------- Pin 1 and 3 should have power when you turn the key to on. Pin 2 is ground but only if the FPC case is grounded to the car body. It provides the fuel pump its ground. Pin 4 has no connection. Pin 5 to ECU pin 104. Pin 6 to ECU pin 35 (TT only). Pin 7 has no connection. Pin 8 to fuel pump and the tank gauge unit if NA.
